Designed for children in grades 1, 2, & 3 and their parents, this 4-week series of classes will focus on reading comprehension skills (reading for understanding). Registration is for the whole series, and classes will meet at the library on Saturdays from 11:30 – 12:15 on the following dates: January 12, January 19, January 26, and February 9.
Class size is limited to 15 students, and priority will be given to Harrison Township residents and those children attending school within Harrison Township. Others will be put on a waiting list and added if there is room in the class.
The classes are led by our children’s librarian, Julie Dries, who is also a certified teacher and K-12 reading specialist.
To register for these free classes, please call 586-329-1261, or stop by the library in person by Friday, January 11.
