Library books delivered to your doorstep!
Beginning Monday, February 1, Harrison Township residents can request to have their library materials delivered to their doorsteps.
The service is easy to use:
- Request materials.
- Once notified the items are ready for pickup, contact the library to select a delivery time at (586) 329-1261.
- Our volunteer delivery drivers will bring your order directly to your home.
Library deliveries are open to all Harrison Township residents with a valid library card. Deliveries cannot be left in common areas. Residents of multiple dwelling facilities like apartments should schedule deliveries when they are able to accept the delivery. For the safety of everyone, HTPL volunteers will not enter homes for any reason. For the safety of our volunteers and our materials, deliveries will be rescheduled during inclement weather.

Yes. While you cannot schedule a returns pickup with our delivery drivers, our drivers are happy to accept returns while making a scheduled delivery. Just leave your materials in a weather-safe bag on your porch during your delivery time. We’ll pick them up and return them to the library for you.
