MeLCat Statewide Interlibrary Loan

MeLCat is a statewide interlibrary loan program administered by the Library of Michigan. Through the library's participation in the program, patrons have access to more than 15 million items held by libraries across the state.

If an item for which a patron is looking is not owned by HTPL, patrons may request the item themselves through MeLCat. Once a request is confirmed, the item generally arrives at HTPL within 7-10 days. Once the item arrives at the library, patrons may borrow videos for 7 days and all other items for 21 days.
