How you can help support the library
Our mission is to connect people to resources that inform, educate, entertain and inspire. We seek to offer our patrons access to a world of knowledge, personal enrichment, and cultural appreciation. We value our patrons, our community, quality of service, and lifelong learning.
Your contribution will help us achieve this mission. Whether you choose to make a monetary contribution to the library, donate your time, or donate your used books for our fundraising used book sale, we are grateful for our community’s support.

Donating Books and Other Materials
The library greatly appreciates the donation of books and other media. Donated items are reviewed for possible addition to our collection, and those that do not fit into our collection development plans are donated to the Friends of the Harrison Township Library for their used book sale. The Friends use the proceeds of the book sale to support the library’s programming and other services.
We accept donations of books and other materials when the library is open, and a tax receipt is available upon request. We ask that donated materials be in good condition, free of extreme wear and tear, and without any mold or excessive dirt. You can learn more about donating to the library in our Gifts and Donated Materials Policy.
